The majority of our cattle are sold private treaty on the farm. We enjoy getting to know our customers, their needs, wants, goals and aspirations. We feel this can be best accomplished by meeting with our customers on the farm. We are also available to visit your farm to get a better understanding of your operation and how we can provide the genetics to improve your herd. We simply enjoy talking cattle.
We generally have cattle for sale most times of the year, although we sell the bulk of the calf crop in the fall. We generally wean calves in August, background them for at least 45 days to get them past any weaning stress, and then make them available for sale. We have bred cows, open heifers, bred heifers and some "out of season" cows for sale from time to time. We have yearling bulls and mature bulls for sale throughout the year.
All of our cattle are vaccinated with at least two rounds as calves and are given a booster annually thereafter. We deworm the calves several times and the mature cows and bulls are dewormed two times per year. We guarantee our bulls to be breeders. If you are not satisfied that the bull is getting cows bred, you can sell the bull, provide us with the proceeds and we will credit you with the amount you paid us for the bull towards the purchase of another of our bulls. Your satisfaction is our desire.
We also participate in association sales from time to time and are always available to answer any questions you may have about these cattle.
